Oh wow. Might I say, thank you for showing the photo as well as the art piece. Honestly, it took me a moment to tell the two apart as to which was the photo and which was the study. Your piece is incredibly crisp and clean and it's gorgeous. The anatomy is spot on, fantastically done. I love it so much, like wow. It is just so absolutely beautiful. I cannot find a single thing wrong with it, it is just so beautiful and well done. Please keep up this amazing work.

Yeah, I like to leave the reference there so people can compare the two. I'm glad you like it so much :D Thank you! I'll try to improve and keep it up!

This is so incredibly cute! I love the posing, the derpy expression, and the toes/fingers are adorable (not in a creepy way, they're just cute) The sketchy style really works well for this piece and I love how the green on the head brings your attention to the expression to really tie it all together. I love the whole thing, it makes me want to know more about the species. Really well done!~

Thanks homie! Donamir is a gravity dragon. They're pretty derptastic little fellas. Really good at controlling gravity, but they lack basic motor controls. They flop quite often. I really want to post more of him because he's wonderful. He tries. They gotta be squishy otherwise they won't be able to adapt to the rapid change in gravity and density and shit like that. They're like chameleons except with gravity and density instead of color.

Oh man, I don't know what this is but I love it! Really endearing. You've done it all in a really nice style, everything is clear, the back light makes it pop off the background... Really well done! I love how the colors aren't too dull but at the same time not too bright and they work well together. Even the accent colors help frame and guide your eyes to the rest of the piece. Really nice!

This is really well thought out and the way you pulled it off is good too! The shadows are good, the highlights are good, and you did well with adding bright colors to give it some personality. The expression is really nice and I like the unique eyes. The only problem I have is the guts, I can't exactly tell what everything is. I'd just suggest looking up autopsy photos, doctor's studying pictures, or other anatomy references in order to make the guts more believable. It's hard but completely do-able and with practice I'm sure you'll be astounding at it. Great job of the picture, though!~ Loving that background too.

xxanemia responds:

yeah im not too keen on the guts either, looking back on it theyre not shaded enough either compared to the rest of it! i like doing goopy cartoon guts but i will look at some anatomy pics too ^.^

This is pulled off really well. I love the expression and the fact it's all in tones yet the eyes just pop and have so much feeling to them. It's like you could look at her face fifty times and still be getting different emotions and life from them. My only suggestions would be to make the transition from clothing to skin a little more clearer. Especially with the shirt, it took me a moment to realize she was wearing a shirt. For that you could probably just do a tad darker shadow or brighter highlight where the clothing ends and the skin begins. Otherwise this is really well done and I really enjoyed looking at it. Thank you for sharing.

ROGUEKELSEY responds:

Thank you very much for your feedback! I appreciate the comments about the blouse blending with the skin as I didn't really notice before, but I definitely see it now.

This is absolutely fantastic~ I love the anatomy and how you shaded it to really make the whole thing flow. The shading between the helmet and her hip is also a wonderful touch as it gives the whole thing some depth. I love how this practically pops! It just jumps off the page towards you with the bright colors and clean edges. Also, I'm always a sucker for expressions and the way you pulled this expression off is truly wonderful. I immediately recognized who this was, even in the preview icon. You did a stunning job. My only suggestion would be on the darkest parts (her hands, her boots towards the right, her shadowed thigh) is to maybe try giving it a hint of reflected light along the edge. That would help it to pop even more. All in all, though, this is a wonderfully done piece and you really should be proud of yourself, it looks fantastic.

This is an excellent piece!~ I love the composition, how everything flows together, and it truly looks like it would fit well into the Pokemon style. The shading literally looks like it's from Pokemon so awesome on that. My only suggestion for critique would be with the face. The nose may just be your style so that's good on you but the closed eye seems to be slightly tilted wrong and just a tad too small. Other than that, I can't find anything wrong with the entire piece. The colors all work together, the rest of the anatomy is fantastic, everything looks like it literally came out of a tv show it's just that good. It's just all absolutely gorgeous, well done!~

Braivety responds:

wow, thanks so much haha xD yeah I wasnt completely sold on the face either. Golisopod also looks kind of weird for me but im learning xD
